Keith Ahern
Chief Executive Officer

Keith has over 15 years of innovative software and service development experience. At Mogeneration, Keith is responsible for growing the business, focusing on key markets and managing joint ventures.   Keith was previously Mobile Technology Manager for News Digital Media (online division of News Ltd) where he was worked on mobile platforms, strategy, development and vendor management. Keith helped grow NDM’s mobile channel from simple SMS services to engaging mobile websites with millions of page views each month.  Prior to establishing Mogeneration, Keith worked for web pioneer Netscape in Silicon Valley on the Navigator browser and later worked for Philips Research and Development where he was granted 2 US patents. Keith has a BInfTech & Telecom (Hons) from the University of Limerick, Ireland.
Tom Adams

Tom Adams
Chief Technologist and Co-founder

Tom has over ten years experience in the IT industry as a software engineer, consultant and lecturer. In 2000 he joined Plugged In Software where he worked on projects including PKI-based security infrastructure, advanced web based clients, Windows clients and applied Semantic Web technologies. In 2004 Tom worked in the United States where he participated in two W3C working groups. Most recently Tom has worked in enterprise development for Suncorp, Flight Centre and Harvey Norman. Tom has a BSc and BInfTech (Hons) from Griffith University. He is the holder of a US patent.
LIsa Walton

Lisa Walton
Marketing Director

Lisa has over 10 years global marketing experience in mobile and telco with stints at Telstra, Vodafone in NZ & Australia and British Telecom (BT) in London. She has built successful partnerships with global technology businesses such as Apple, Microsoft and Cisco.  Lisa leapt at the chance to be a part of a small dynamic business in the fast growing industry of tablet publishing and has kicked off her time at Oomph rebranding the business to reflect the quality apps that our customers create.  She has an MBA, a sub 3.30 New York marathon time and over 4000 photos from a recent adventure in South America.

Nick Backhouse
Business Director

Nick currently leads Mogeneration's new business acquisition efforts in key B2B, consumer and custom publishing sectors. In particular Nick is working with a number of leading titles in the financial services, business management, IT, sport and fitness verticals.  Nick joined Mogeneration following a 3 year stint in North America as the Sales Director for CDM Media. During this time nick was instrumental in CDM's rapid growth, which saw revenues grow by over 140% year on year. Nick is a keen but average golfer, and also enjoys scuba diving, travelling and red wine.

Nick is an experienced software developer and leader with seven years experience, from consultancy to transportation modelling. Nick brings a mathematical background to Mogeneration, cracking the hard problems ranging from physics simulations to the application of functional programming techniques which improve the speed and reliability of iPhone applications. Nick has a BSc in Mathematics & Computer Science from the University of Queensland.

Tony Redhead
Creative Technologist

Tony has worked in the field of computer imaging for 27 years. Tony joined digital pioneer Quantel in 1984 to work on the development of the Paintbox. In 1987, Tony started Electric Paint, in Hollywood, and was the first to use digital technology to produce award winning movie posters for projects such as Silence of the Lambs, JFK and Born on the Fourth of July. In 1995, Tony established one of the countries first internet agencies, Red Square Productions, working with Qantas, Telstra, YHA, Panasonic Australia and the oneworld Alliance of Airlines (American Airlines, British Airways, Qantas, Cathay Pacific etc) and Maersk Line Shipping. In 2009 Tony merged the Red Square with webqem, allowing him to pursue his interest in all things digital. Tony is familiar with a range of software applications including Photoshop, Fireworks, InDesign and dynamic content platforms like Adobe Scene7. Tony participated in the beta of Adobe Digital Publishing Studio, but since discovering the Oomph digital publishing platform he has not looked back and joined the Oomph crew in November 2011.
Erica vd Walt

Erica Van der Walt
Head of Design

Erica has over 7 years of experience in both print and digital graphic design. Erica leads the design team at Oomph. Her team is responsible for client training and production at Oomph.  Erica is responsible for both the training and support of client Apps as well as doing much of the actual production.  Key titles include the Fitness First iPad magazine that recently won the inaugrual Best App on mobile or tablet at the  2011 Excellence Awards hosted by Publishers Australia.  Erica will bring her wealth of hands on and management experience to the team. Before Oomph, Erica worked as a Senior Designer in a London based agency, Hamilton-Brown Graphics, gaining extensive experience in corporate and commercial publishing. She also has branding and events experience which she gained working as an in-house designer for a large manufacturing company. Erica holds a Bachelor of Design from the Swinburne School of Design in Melbourne.
